Author Guidelines

Researchers and practitioners are welcome to submit their original empirical research, review articles, and book review articles 2,000 - 4000 words in length minus bibliography.  Before submission, ensure that the manuscript conforms to the information for authors available at https://african-studies.uonbi.ac.ke/basic-page/instructions-authors.

Submissions will be judged on clarity, originality, correctness, meaningful comparison, and contributions to research resources. Each submission will be reviewed by at least one editorial board member, and if the submission is found suitable then it will be subjected to a double-blind review by two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field of research.

The final decision regarding the acceptance/revision, or rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers and the sole discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.

All manuscripts must be submitted via email: mila.journal@uonbi.ac.ke
