Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submission

The authors should submit a letter confirming that this article is original work, violates no contractual agreement and has not been published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Presentation

Articles may be up to 5000 words in length. Papers should be sent as email      attachments to kolakenya@gmail.com or info@kolakenya.org.

The name(s) of the author(s) with affiliations and contact details and the title of the paper should be included.

Style

  • The article should be presented in Times New Roman font, size 12, with spacing of 1.5; preferably in word document format.
  • The abstract should be italicized with the title ‘Abstract’. It should be between 150-300 words written as a continuous block paragraph.
  • 3-6 key words should be given immediately after the abstract
  • Paper title should be in Sentence case, bold and centered using Times New Romans font 14
  • The name (s) of the author (s) should be centered, non-bold face, beneath the title. Multiple authors should be shown in a two or three column format. The affiliation of the author(s) should also be centered and italicized beneath the author’s name. Include the email  address of the authors.
  • Second level heading should be aligned left, bold, in sentence case
  • Third level heading should be aligned left, bold, and italicized in sentence case
  • Authors should adhere to the format

Reference

References

The citations and references should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style.

Notes

Notes should appear at the end of the manuscript but before the references. They should be numbered consecutively throughout the text.
