This entrepreneurship case revolves around Solomon Orwa, a dedicated postgraduate student at the University of Nairobi, on a mission to revolutionize energy access in off-grid rural areas. Solomon's three-year project, initially focused on designing a cleaning system for a gasifier, evolved into fabricating the gasifier itself. Motivated by the potential to provide clean energy solutions, Solomon delved into gasification, aiming to convert dry biomass into a versatile gas for household cooking and power generation.
